Task Force on the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children

During the 2017-18 interim, the Task Force on the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children is required to gather information concerning child sexual abuse throughout the state and develop recommendations to reduce child sexual abuse. Under 2017 Senate Bill No. 2342, the Majority Leader of the Senate appoints one member of the Senate, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives appoints one member of the House of Representatives, and the Minority Leaders of the Senate and the House of Representatives jointly appoint one member of the minority party to the task force.
