Maps of Legislative Districts

The statewide map with enhanced features provides information on districts and legislators. When using this map for legislative purposes, check to make sure the Legislative District layer is selected on the right side of the screen.

To determine your legislative district number, on the left side of the screen click the Zoom In button. Then move the cursor to the approximate location you reside in the state. Click to zoom in to the level you need to determine your legislative district number.

To determine your legislators, on the left side of the screen click the Web Link button. Then move the cursor to your district and click. The names of the legislators for that district will appear in a separate window, with links to their biographies.

More legislative district data formats are available on the North Dakota GIS website:

1. Go to ND GIS Hub Data Portal
2. Click on GovtBoundaries within Categories
3. Go to page 2 of results
4. Scroll to Legislative Districts (top of page)
5. Click the +More Information button
6. Scroll to the Transfer options for the link to download
