Orientation Sessions

Orientation and Training Sessions for Certain Legislative Employees is the agenda for classes for legislative employees who use information technology programs in performing their duties during a legislative session. Training for Legislators is the agenda for information technology classes for legislators. Classes range from refresher sessions during the legislative organizational session, December 6-8, 2004, to computer introduction sessions for new legislators, December 8-9, 2004, to courses for all legislators on the Legislator's Automated Work Station (LAWS) system, January 3, 2005. Organizational Session Agenda is the agenda for the legislative organizational session to be held December 6-8, 2004. Under North Dakota Century Code Section 54-03.1-03, the agenda for the organizational session is to include orientation classes on legislative rules and procedure, presentation of reports by legislative interim committees, party caucuses to review proposed legislative rules and committee assignments, presentation of the budget and revenue proposals recommended by the Governor, and other matters so that the Legislative Assembly is ready to begin its business by the first day of the regular session (January 4, 2005). 2004 Organizational Session Agenda

Legislative Drafting Seminar is the brochure of a drafting seminar sponsored by the Legislative Council staff. The seminar is a five-hour course, usually given in September or October immediately preceding a legislative session.
